    26The Virginia Tech CORNET is a collection of high performance servers, unique and extremely flexible RF hardware, and software-defined radio architectures.  The CORNET graduate students and staff have integrated these pieces into a resource for next-generation wireless system developers around the world to rapidly prototype, extensively test, and compare Cognitive Radio techniques, Software-Defined Radio components, and Dynamic Spectrum Access technologies on a larger scale that is outside of the traditional simulation environment.
